Whoa! I can clearly see the improvement in the anatomy. How did you do this! o_o Honestly, I try to figure out how to get more natural faces. Did you do studies? Or is it “just” your feeling, how do paint?

I’ve never done any studies, nor taken the time to look at a reference. Never looked through tutorials. I do it completely by my imagination and memory, which can often leave things looking a bit.. distorted, I suppose.

I felt the original was too… dramatic, for me anyway, and the strong colors were a little overwhelming. At least.. for me. But yeah. I do still like the original, I just wanted to take it a different direction.
